Transporting Options

License Requirements
You don't need a specific license to operate a digger or excavator, but training is required for safe and competent use.

However, if you're operating on the road, a special license and endorsement is required. You must have a license for the appropriate weight class and an endorsement to operate construction machinery on wheels, tracks, or rollers (WTR).
