Master Hydro Seeder – Trailer – 2000L

The Master Hydro Seeder - 2000L is mounted on a skid frame and comes tied down on a trailer. It is fitted with a 30m hose reel and 2 types of nozzles for either squirting with a narrow fan for long distances or a wide fan for short distances.

Hydro Seeders are specialised machines for a planting process that involves a mixture of seed, mulch fertilizer and water to create a slurry. The mixture is disturbed by the agitation jets in the tank, then distributed under pressure through a hose and squirted onto the designated area. Hydro seeders are great for erosion control on construction, roading or residential sites, as it helps prevent soil erosion and stabilisers uneven or disturbed areas. They are particularly effective for planting seed onto hillsides, sloping lawns and steep slopes where traditional planting methods are challenging.
User-friendly to operate. If hiring for the first time one of the Allways Hire team members will run you through how to operate it and best practices.

Two options of mulch are available to purchase from Allways Hire, either a mulch that best suits slopes and flat ground, or a mulch that is best suited for flat ground only. You will need to purchase the grass seed and fertiliser from a turf supply store.

One 2000L tank load of mixture can cover up to 500 square meters.

This unit can be self-filled with a pump from a creek or river, fire hydrant, a water cart, or with a garden hose.

The hydro seeder can be towed behind a ute or small commercial vehicle, or with it's 4 lifting points it can taken off it's trailer and placed onto the back of a truck. Especially useful for on the back of rail trucks for slope stabilisation and erosion control
