Connecting the auger to the digger The auger drive unit has bracket that connects to the hitch of the digger. The two hydraulic hoses have ½ inch quick release couplings (QRC) that simply connect to the QRC’s on the digger boom. Features This auger attachment has requires a hydraulic flow rate of 40 to 95 liters per minute. Range of auger sizes include: 275mm, 300mm, 450mm, 600mm, and 750mm. The 275mm to 600mm augers use a 50mm hex drive suitable for 1.7T to 10T diggers, while the 750mm auger uses a 75mm square drive for 10T diggers. 1m and 2m auger drive extensions are also available for increased depth if required. License Requirements There is no special license is required to operate the Auger Torque Earth Drill. However, a basic knowledge of excavator operation is recommended for safe and effective use.
